Although it’s super exciting that under the mask piercings are now permitted, we do want our customers who are considering getting a piercing under the mask to think about possible problems with healing whilst having to wear a mask.

To help a piercing heal, it requires oxygen to freely get to it. As everyone has experienced the environment of their face under a mask, it is definitely not the ideal situation for a fresh piercing.

If you are in the position of having to wear a mask for several hours due to work commitments, you may want to postpone until you have the chance to be mask free for a more extended period of time.

We will not refuse to pierce you under the mask. However, we do want to advise you that it will be an added responsibility for you to be super vigilant in the aftercare of your new piercing.
